What will you leave me?
When you leave this earth.
But pain and sorrow to
Strangle me for all its worth.
What will you leave me?
When you pass away.
But a loneliness, emptiness
And a life time to pay.
What will you leave me?
When you meet your doom.
But the cold concrete slab
Of your everlasting gravestone.
What will you leave me?
When the door on your life closes.
But a head full of memories
And a place to leave my roses.
I see you smiling
Lips turn upwards
Dimples in your cheeks
A smile more beautiful than words
I see you smiling
And the laugh that follows
But the smile is fake
And the laugh seems hollow
I see you smiling
But it dose not reach your eyes
They remain untouched
By your lip’s unspoken lies
I see you smiling
But I know it’s not true.
It not the other people
Your lying to, its you.
